Parks
Umbria is known as "the green heart" of Italy, yet only 7% conservation area.
Umbria has one National Park and six Regional Parks, in addition there are numerous smaller parks.
There are two categories: mountain parks and water parks, the latter is aimed at the protection of lakes and rivers in the region.
